How can I end a civil partnership?
The court may make an order (a "dissolution order") which
dissolves a civil partnership on the ground that it has broken down
irretrievably.
The court can also make a "nullity order" or a "presumption
of death order" to end the partnership. However, as with marriage
it is not possible for a "dissolution order" to be made
within the first year of the partnership beginning.
