Sasee Logasuriyan is a Trainee Solicitor with a strong grounding in law, developed through experience in legal aid, private practice, and pro bono work. She brings a well-rounded skill set to her training, including advocacy, case preparation, and a commitment to high standards of client care.
At Sinclairslaw, Sasee works closely with partners and supervising solicitors on matters including Public Law Judicial Review, Education, Community Care, Employment, Discrimination, and Regulatory and Information Law. Her responsibilities include drafting court documents, assisting with case strategy, and providing practical support throughout the litigation process.
Prior to joining Sinclairslaw, Sasee worked as a Family Law Paralegal. She supported fee earners with matters under the Family Law Act, the Domestic Abuse Act, the Children Act, Divorce, and Financial Remedy proceedings. Notably, she assisted a survivor in obtaining an urgent Non-Molestation Order at the Royal Courts of Justice outside of office hours, ensuring the order was served within an hour and enabling the client to return home safely.
Previously, Sasee built up management experience at a domestic violence charity, where she supervised a team who assisted survivors of abuse. During her managerial role, she developed accessibility initiatives to support clients with additional needs, including those with disabilities or sensory impairments, helping reduce barriers to accessing support.
Alongside her training, Sasee serves as a Timekeeper for the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, assisting with inter-Inn moots and moots involving US universities. During university, she coordinated campaigns for the Sheffield Women’s Committee, creating safe spaces for survivors of abuse on campus.
Sasee has a strong interest in legal academic writing and was recently awarded Runner-Up in the ALC Legal Advice Writing Competition 2025, with Her Honour Judge Ashley Thain commenting on the cohort: “If this represents the future of the legal profession, then we are in safe hands.” Moreover, she has assisted Lord Wilson, (former Justice of the UK Supreme Court) with research for a panel examining family justice support for victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse, during the development of the Domestic Abuse Bill. She is currently a Pegasus Scholar for the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
Outside of work, Sasee enjoys art, travel, cooking, and learning languages. She has a keen interest in the environment, particularly: legal rights for nature, biodiversity protection, and indigenous women’s associations in the Andes and Amazon.
