Anti Bullying Seminar "a massive success" Sinclairs law Live

The Sinclairslaw anti-bullying seminar that was held on the 18th May 2017, was an amazing success with a live audience of 1.7 thousand people. In this first of many seminars that are planned to be held at the Sinclairslaw Headquarters, the production was broadcast live on Facebook and according to Deputy Chief Executive Mr Greg Evans it was a "massive success". Sinclairslaw would like to express its thanks to all of our speakers including Nicola Harteveld the mother of beautiful Megan 14,who in February this year took her own life due to bullying. Nicola said she was "honoured to be part of your inspiring seminar. Bullying is a huge epidemic that needs to be addressed by absolutely everyone and a kind word, that doesn't cost anything, can be priceless to someone who really needs to hear it." The presentation was the idea of Sinclairslaw Chief Executive Mr Michael Charles who said that he was "inspired to do something in light of the recent harrowing events of a number of children reported to have taken their own lives consequent to bullying". Speaking after the event he said "I just wanted to arrange a free event to help provide information and advice and to reinforce the message that there is something that can be done." The event hosted by national TV reporter Keith Doyle was later shared and viewed on Facebook by over ten thousand people in only 24 hours. In addition to Nicola Harteveld, speakers included Michael Charles CEO, and Education Law specialist, Dr Nahla Jamil Consultant Psychiatrist, Claude Knights National Child Advocate and retired chief executive of Anti Bullying Charity Kidscape, as well as Vivienne Clifford Educational Psychologist and Juanita Hurley speech and language therapist.
