Sinclairslaw apprenticeship scheme - successful first stage applicants to be invited to assessment day.

The firm has received a substantial number of applications to progress through the trailblazer Solicitor apprenticeship scheme. The process of selection is now well underway and successful candidates will shortly receive notification that they will be invited to an open day. This will represent the second of the four stages of the selection process. The scheme is an excellent opportunity to bypass the traditional significantly more expensive route toward entering the legal profession. This is because the successful candidate will be taken straight from school and shall follow a University degree part time. This will allow the candidate to obtain a Law Degree as well as being paid whilst they learn. This will thereby avoid substantial student debt and according to firm CEO Michael Charles "will provide an opportunity to a greater number of people who otherwise might not be able to afford to enter the profession." The selection process to follow will involve candidates being invited to an open day (stage 2) whereupon further details of the application process will be revealed. Candidates will also be expected to deliver a short presentation live to camera on a topic that will be chosen out of a number of subject areas covered by the firm. This might include a presentation on Education, disability or children law. Those progressing through to stage 3, which will include a more traditional interview at the Sinclairslaw headquarter offices in Cardiff or in London will be invited if successful , onto stage 4 which will be the final stage. Winners will be announced in or around April 2018 so that they are advised in good time before the scheme commences in September 2018. Full details of the process will be discussed in detail at the open day event.
