An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Court of Protection, Education and Public Law Department. The Department has grown substantially within the last 2 years and has ambitious plans to further increase its market share over the next 12 months. Predominantly acting for vulnerable adults who lack capacity as well as disabled children, the Department has a national reputation and is led by a recognised leading expert in the field. The successful candidate will be trained to assist in the running of contentious matters before the Court of Protection (welfare), Education cases (mainly special educational needs) and public law challenges (judicial review). This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the fastest growing teams in the Firm, which undertakes fundamentally important and life changing work of the highest quality. Knowledge, experience and/or a genuine interest in the work we undertake is highly desirable. Essential requirements: LLB/GDL graduate or experienced paralegal (2 + years).
